Joe Neuberger is President and CEO of Kornitzer Capital Management and has over 35 years of experience in the financial services industry. In his current role, Joe is responsible for the day to day management and long term growth strategy for Kornitzer Capital Management. John C. Kornitzer is the Founder of Kornitzer Capital Management (KCM) and the Buffalo Funds, KCM’s mutual fund group. He also serves as a Portfolio Manager working with equity and fixed income portfolios.
Prior to founding KCM, Mr. Kornitzer was Vice President of Investments for Employers Reinsurance Corp (ERC). He joined ERC in 1978, and managed assets for the company through acquisitions by Getty Oil, Texaco and finally General Electric Investment Corporation (GEIC), where he ran investment portfolios for ERC and GEIC until founding KCM in 1989. Kornitzer’s extensive experience also includes 11 years on Wall Street; seven years for Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner & Smith Inc. and four years as Vice President and managing partner of Butcher & Singer’s New York region.

Kent joined KCM in 1991 and has 41 years of professional investment experience. At KCM, Kent’s past roles included President of the Buffalo Funds, Portfolio Manager for various funds, institutions, and private clients, and investment analyst. From 1982 to 1991, Kent worked at Waddell & Reed as a Portfolio Manager and Research Analyst.
At KCM, Kent currently works with individuals and institutions through Kornitzer Private Client Services, managing both equity and fixed income portfolios. Kent’s roles include portfolio management, investment analysis, and relationship management.
Kent received a B.S. from Kansas State University. He also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
